White Horse to reopen Friday 14 June

The exciting and welcome news is that the White Horse will be fully reopening on Friday 14 June at 11:30am under the tenancy of Craig Tipper. Craig, along with his business partner Barbara, have been working hard alongside the pub committee in preparing for the reopening and they look forward to meeting the community.

“Our attraction to running a community pub is just that - the community.” Said Craig recently in an interview in our village magazine The Slate. “You are the heartbeat of the White Horse and our mission is to provide… a warm friendly welcome, whether it’s for bite to eat, a pint with friends, a coffee and cake, or just to pop in for a chat. Craig is currently compiling information about the pub, including opening times and menus, on a new website at www.thewhitehorsestonesfield.com. He will also be posting on a dedicated pub Facebook page.

We will continue to operate our own website, Facebook and Instagram pages as the ‘White Horse community’ and our role, with your help, will continue to be one of ongoing stewardship and safeguarding and we will be outlining options for the future soon.

But in the meantime, many thanks once again for all your hard work and support in bringing us to this long-awaited next stage of the pub’s future, and we can’t wait to raise a glass in celebration with you soon!
